Jude - Nov

We had a pretty crazy, fun-filled month with birthday party celebration, Thanksgiving, and then starting the Christmas festivities! When Jude sees Christmas decor somewhere or Christmas lights out, he always says "I thing their having Christmas". I don't think he realizes that A LOT of people are "having" Christmas right now! This Christmas season has already been so much fun with Jude understanding so much more. He is in awe of everything! Such a joy getting to experience it all through his eyes. We are trying to keep the focus on the true reason for the season and making as many family memories/traditions as possible!
-Jude has really been into learning about tricity (electricity) and is always asking us questions about it.  One night we were putting him to bed and he he said, "Mamma, don't touch that plug (aka: the outlet) it will mess you up and blow you on the curtains!!" We died laughing!! At least he gets the point!
-Jude had a sinus infection this month so we did a lot of nose wiping! When Jude asks for a tissue though it sounds like he is saying "kiss you", esp with a stopped up nose.  Sometimes I forget and think its so sweet that he wants to give me a kiss!!
-When he has a suggestion about something he tells you his thought and then says, "That's a great idea!"
This is how Jude celebrated Veterans Day!

Classic Jude face

First ice cream truck experience that he talks about often

I think he likes it!
I also think it took him FOREVER to eat that thing and it was EVERYWHERE!!!

This is what Jude does about a million times a day! My poor pillows and couches!
I honestly don't mind though because he uses a lot of creativity when "building" his pillows!  Boys will be boys! The only hard part is helping him understand that you can't do this when you go to other people's homes.

Helping mommy cook in his new chef hat he made at MDO

Eating his candy that we may have bribed him with on picture day

Look at that sweet boy in his school pics!

MDO thanksgiving lunch; he was too busy eating his brownie to smile at the camera

Cousin fun!

Exploring with Daddy & PawPaw

Rainy day = Academy fun

From here we spent the rest of our time golfing!

Decorating his very own Christmas tree!

Swinging in the rain on Thanksgiving.
I think he is wondering why no one will push him!

Another rainy day = pet store
(I think frequent pet store visits sounds much better than having a pet!!)

Sound the Alarm - Jude Turned 3

Happy Third Birthday Jude Samuel Sessler!!!! I have no idea how I could possibly be typing the word THREE!  How is my baby three years old? It seriously feels like yesterday that he was a baby boy in my arms! He is now an extremely active, spirited, loving, independent, smart, all-boy little guy.  BOY, not baby, but BOY!!  Yes, we might also label him as very strong-willed and crazy, but we are working through those things! I asked him a few questions the other day that I hope to continue to do every year.

Favorite color: red
Favorite food: carrots (hum???)
What he wants to be when he grows up: Daddy
Favorite thing to do: play ball
Best friend: Ethan
Favorite movie: Frosty
Favorite tv show: George

We celebrated his birthday a few weeks early this year at the Fire Station! It was such a fun party and the firemen were so kind to let us have a party in their "home" and give us a tour of the station and the trucks.  The kids were in heaven! We had a fun filled morning of lots of food, hitting the fire truck pinata, playing and going crazy, and climbing on the fire trucks! Jude's friends and even some new friends from school all came to love on him.  We have so many people that love this boy and are helping shape the man he is becoming.  We thank all of you and ask for your continued prayers for the Lord's guidance. Here are some pics of the day!

Went straight to work with his new tool set

He then decided that he needed to go work on the cars, ha!

Nov - Quinn

My baby is turning the corner and is now closer to one than a newborn.  With both kids this has hit this sappy mom hard!!  We are completely loving this age with her, but its just going so fast!!!  This precious baby girl has the sweetest personality and is our little love-bug! She is pretty content unless Mommy is out of her sight, she is tired, you are not feeding her fast enough, or has lost her paci! She always likes to be apart of whatever is going on and will just watch us all with the biggest smile.  Do NOT try to lay her down or put her in her swing if there is something going on! So far this girl is a Mommy's girl.  As long as she is with me or near me, all is well in her world.  This is super enduring, but can also be kind of hard; especially with also chasing a toddler around! Speaking of, she thinks Jude hangs the moon!!  He can do no wrong in her eyes and even if he is telling her to stop talking because she is too loud or to give him his toy back, she still thinks he's hilarious!!  She is sitting up like a champ and starting to get on all fours, but hasn't figured out the crawling thing just yet.  Which is totally fine with us! She prefers the roll and reach method at this time.  Our biggest change this month is eating fruits and veggies!!  This girls L.O.V.E.S to eat and you better keep it coming.  No sign language needed here! So far she has tried peas, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, avocado, apples, apricots, bananas, and cereal.  Her least favorite seems to be green beans, but don't worry she'll still eat all of them! She also loves Mum mums and puff snacks.  We could kiss this chubby, rosy cheek, little girl all day long.  She has us all wrapped around her sweet little finger!

Kisses from Daddy

Paci is a girl's best friend

Finally got to meet Aunt Steph!

-Stats: weight - 15.7 pounds (30%), height - 25 inches (15%), head - 42.8 cm (50%)
- Bring on the food, she is ready for more!
-Still obsessed with her paci and is in a bad habit of waking up many times at night because she wants it back.
-Currently has been off her reflux medicine for a few weeks.  Seems to get doing ok, but we are watching her closely!
-Like her brother, she is always taking off her socks and eating them!  All of those bright colors are just too tempting.
-She got her first tooth this month on the bottom.  She is still chewing on everything, so pretty sure more are coming.
-Takes two naps a day, short in the morning and a long one in the afternoon.
-Wears 6 months & 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers
-Seems as though all of her new hair coming is is blonde.  This could be very interesting!  It would be so weird for my blue-eyed, dark haired girl to turn into a blonde!!  I guess we will see.
