Quinn - 19 months

This month flew by and Quinn is now 19 months! She is seriously so much fun! The sweetest, friendliest, happiest, most outgoing, all girly-girl little girl! She was sick for a couple of weeks this month, so she wasn't quite herself (and not eating AT ALL), but she is back to her easy-going self now! She is so intuitive and is picking things up every day that I don't even realize! She just watches all of us so closely and starts doing what we are "unknowingly" teaching her! She loves to sing, say cheese to the camera, play boo, dance, and run and jump into your lap over and over! She seems to have a bit of mommy's OCD in her as I have watched her enjoy picking up, stacking things, and organizing! Just brings so much joy to my Type-A heart!! She is also really starting to learn all of her features on her body.  Her current obsession is eyes, so you better cover those if she is coming for them! Her favorite word by far this month was NO! She said no to anyone about anything, or she simply walked around saying it for no reason! Needless to say we are now really working on kindness! She has also learned that she can be really loud and thinks its super fun to yell and scream as loud as she can and then laugh at herself! Let me just say that its not too funny to us!! New words this month are "What's that", eyes, nose, cookie, cracker, and yogurt. We are looking forward to all of the fun activities of December this year now that she is getting older and can join in on the fun! We love you sissy girl more than any words I could ever type!

Jude - November

-Daddy decided to grow a beard for No Shave November and Jude wanted to be like Daddy. We were coloring one day and he started coloring on his lip with his crayon and I asked what he was doing, "Coloring on a mustache like Daddy's, then I am going to shave it off with him."
- We were talking about his camping party one night before bed and he asked why we weren't really going camping.  I explained that we couldn't, but that it was going to be just like it.  He responded with, "well there won't be any bears." I then explained that we don't want bears because they will eat our food, and he said, "No Mom, we'll have bear spray!" I THEN told him that we were going to have pretend bears and pretend bear spray.  He sat there for awhile and then said, "Well...will there be real donuts??" I think I made him nervous that EVERYTHING was going to be pretend!
- After Jude's party he came up to me and said, "You're the best party girl ever!" It made me so happy that he had so much fun at his party!!
-We were going to open his gifts from his grandparents and I took him to the side to remind him to say thank you and before I could get through my "speech" he said, "I know, I know...I already know all of that stuff!" Um....four going on fourteen???
-Jude doesn't love "Spicy" candy canes, so one afternoon he asked for a "sweet" candy cane from Walmarx..."Do you know where Walmarx is at Mommy?"
