2 Years - December

I've been so thankful for these monthly posts that I have done since Jude was born.  They provide me with such a great way of sharing all that is happening in our lives with friends and family, plus I am able to use each of the posts in Jude's books that I keep for him.  Its time though to change things up a bit!!  Instead of a full overview, I will now being doing some monthly Judisms to help us remember these fun stages going forward!!

-Jude loves to talk about Jesus and brings him up all the time.  He tells me that he dreams about Jesus when I get him up from his nap, he will plop down with our bibles and tell us he's going to read Jesus, and he loves to pray each night and tell Jesus he loves him.  One funny story - we were playing football one afternoon and he told me to scoot back, I was assuming so he could "throw it long".  But then he told me to go stand by Jesus.  I was so confused!  He then proceeds to take me to the office where I do my bible study each morning and picks up the bible and says, Jesus.  Oh!!  He then proceeds to climb up in the chair and says he wants to read Jesus.  He opens the bible, flips through for a bit, then closes it suddenly and says "no pictures", puts it down and simply walks away.  Made me laugh pretty hard.
-He always tells us that he'll "be right back" or "wants to do something for just a minute" when he wants to do something that we aren't currently doing.
-Due to his cousin Mia, he now calls himself Juddie all the time.  "Good job Juddie", "This is Juddie's cup", etc.
-Loves to help mommy find stop signs and make sure mommy always STOPS!!
-When we lay Jude down for naps or night night, singing is no longer enough.  He now wants stories.  So mommy and daddy now have to get creative and use our imaginations.  He'll tell you the topic too - baseball stoy, football stoy, gof stoy, soccor stoy, etc. (getting the sports theme???)
-We also must sing Frosty the Snowman (still quite obsessed) and Jesus Loves Me before laying him down.
-He also now sleeps with his puppy/doggie.  Its so cute seeing him cuddle and love on puppy.  Today he got up from him nap and then picked up puppy and said, "Come on doggie, lets play."
-Mommy may have started a bad habit of stopping for donut holes after music class each week.  We drive by the donut shop pretty frequently and now every time we even get close he starts asking for donuts...opps!!
-We are pretty sure that Jude thinks Sam plays baseball for "work"!  When we say daddy is at work he starts talking about daddy hitting home runs.  We were driving home the other night and saw baseball field lights and he says, "baseball...dada work'n over dare."  He might be slightly disappointed when he finds out he actually isn't a professional baseball player!!

Here are a few pictures from the last month!!
