Month 23

We had such a fun month full of Fall and Halloween activities!!  It has been so fun this year getting to experience Jude really get to enjoy these things, now that he is a bit older, and see them through his eyes.  Its a whole new world with a little guy in the picture!  He has become so talkative and conversational lately.  He is always asking "Whatch do'n" (or what's dada do'n, what's mama do'n, etc.), or "What's dat", or "Where so and so".  Pretty much when we start this game we go through every name that he knows!!  He really cares about all of the people in his life and what they are up to!  He also FINALLY started saying "Lov you" back to us!!  It just warms my heart to hear him say that to us!  He has such a big heart and always shows it, but to hear it takes it to a whole new level!  He still pretty much spends his waking hours practicing some type of sport whether is be baseball, basketball, football, tennis, or golf he's not very picky!  His newest thing is every time he hits the baseball (or comes close) he throws his bat down and runs around the room or to touch the wall and yells HOME RUN!  The funniest thing is that we did not teach him this, but he simply learned it by going to dada's softball games.  Speaking of, this little boy lives for those weekly softball games!  For days leading up to the game, every time I would pick him up from his nap he would ask if he could go "watch dada pla baball??".  He will sit in his stroller most of the game just taking it all in and cheering when he's not concentrating too hard!  Its so cute - truly his daddy's biggest fan! His other newest "trick" is with golf - he now makes his golf ball bounce and hits it while bouncing.  This kid can get a lot of air on the ball - I'm not sure how nothing is broken yet!  This year for Halloween Jude was Clark Kent and loved wearing his cape and glasses!  He thought trick-or-treating was pretty fun too!  We went with a few other friends and after teaching them what to do at the first house, they had it down!  We would wheel the wagon from house to house, Jude would say "we here" at each house, and they would climb out to go get their candy.  The hardest part was ensuring they only took 1 piece of candy rather than a handful (or sometimes many handfuls)!!

I think he enjoyed it!!

-Favorite foods: Grapes, mini oranges, turkey roll ups, and salmon
-He has really started to pretend play a lot more, and gets extra creative with his sound effects!  Its so fund to stand back and watch.
-This guy loves to sing and our favorite time to practice is in the car.  His favorites right now are ABCs, Happy Birthday, Twinkle Twinkle, Jingle Bells, Row Row your Boat, and Jesus Loves Me.
-Speaking of the car, it cracks me up if I go over a bump, have to stop fast, or take a sharp turn he says "Whoa Mama"!!  He's already critiquing my driving, ha!
-When he really wants something, he'll ask for it and instantly say, "OK" or "Thank you" like he is already convinced and there are no questions to be asked!
-His favorite book right now is his Texas Book and his favorite part is getting to dance to the mariachi band in SA.
-We have started ending every night not just saying our prayers like normal, but saying our prayers under the covers in our "tent"!
-Its gross, but true, Jude has started picking his boogers and gets super proud of himself when he gets one!  He always says "got it" and holds it up for you to wipe off his finger.  At least we are still wiping it off, but we'll have to work on our manners with this one!
-He now has 6 front teeth on top, and 2 molars, 6 front teeth on the bottom, but now 5-6 molars (I'm staring to loose count).
-Wears size 4 diapers
-Wears mostly 18-24 month or 2T clothes and size 6 shoes.
-Takes 2 naps most days, or one nap and one "rest" period in the afternoon.
